 This could be one fantastic app if it weren't for the crazy in some people. I really liked this story. The idea of clearing the problem spot in your day or life is intriguing and gave me an 'I want' moment. The story though, made me think again. This is the first story I have read by this author and I honestly believe I would read more. A fantastic writer, a disturbing story and a perfectly outstanding book. I recommend it with a shiver and the knowledge I will never get it out of my head.

The Nation's Daughter by Valerie Maarten

Truly a story you never want to find in the news. Though some reviewers pointed towards the Casey Anthony trial I have to say I avoided all aspects of that trial so this story was a fresh idea to me. I loved personification of all of the characters, even that nut of a mother. I liked the way the flashbacks were weaved into the story. The end was an excellent conclusion. Valerie did a very good job on it.
I also have to say I have become a fan to Valerie after reading Second Chances and more so at the finish of Into Thin Air.

Flash Over by Stuart Nager

I bow to the master storyteller. I have read many stories written by Stuart Nager and every time I am struck speechless. Each time I run to them like a little kid in anticipation of a small thriller. Blanket pulled up to my chin in preparation to cover my head. Stuart's writing reminds me of Alfred Hitchcock films. His endings are always surprising. Even though I pretty much know where the story is going, he gets me every time. 

Flash Over pulls you into the anguish of a burn victim and you begin to live his pain. The ending will get you.

Take Your Meds-It's A New Book Review:--

 Well, if I could stutter I would. The first page shattered my peace of mind and scared the heck outta me. Started reading, was so shocked & frightened I shut the cover of my Nook wondering if I should be reading in the dark @ 2a.m. and decided I just have to. Shattered is an outstanding if not troubling story. Younger girls are being raped and brutally murdered, but by whom? Though I had my ideas (and was right) who did it, I still huddled under cover quickly reading through the pages to get to the end. What an exciting read.

Epiphany by Stuart Land

Take Your Meds-It's A New Book Review:--
Epiphany was very cleverly written and Stuart Land will take you on a trip bigger than our imagination. It can be hard for the sceptic to accept the idea of a peaceful existence or the reversal of social order and dismiss the story as too politically correct. As adults we stop looking for the 'happy ending' and believe more in the negative. It's like no longer believing in Santa, but still dreaming for the impossible. I loved the addition of the foreign languages and their explanations. Throughout the story I was waiting for something scary and gross to happen. Afraid aliens would take over the world and totally surprised and happy with the ending. 
I recommend 'Epiphany' it to everyone.

Highway to Vengeance by Brian Springer

Take Your Meds-It's A New Book Review:--

I really enjoyed reading this book by Brian Springer. From page one the conversation flowed smoothly and continued throughout which made the characters seem so real. I loved the training sessions of the Navy Seal because it tied in so well when it was time to activate the mission and made things plausible. None stop action. A great read. I recommend it.
