Take Your Meds- It's A New Book Review:--
Think Like an Author, Act Like a Fan: Novel Approaches to Promote Your Book, Your Products, Yourself, Your Brand on a Budget!
Building a fanbase as an author can be a daunting task, but “Think Like an Author, Act Like a Fan” breaks it down into manageable steps. Some of the tips are how to; Engage with your readers on social media by responding to comments and messages. This can help you build a relationship with your fans and keep them interested in your work. Create clever and fun activities to gain engagement.

Personally, I really liked this book and check back with it to keep myself on my marketing tasks. It's a book and (added bonus) workbook every author needs. I truly learned a lot from it. Different ways to market I hadn't been utilizing and steps I've missed.
The workbook helps you follow up and keep on course with being a marketer that helps you, as an author, fan girl on yourself.
It takes the drudgery and fear out of self-promotion and puts you in the place of how the reader feels. I highly recommend the book. Debra Owsley proves herself to be extremely knowledgeable in the field of promoting, marketing, on social networks, websites, and being a fan of authors.
